It's not Zohran's job to get rid of Jeffries.....it's OUR job. Would be nice if he endorsed BUT WE have to do it anyway.

Schumer and Jeffries don't want this. They will fight tooth and nail to keep the status quo centrists in charge of the party.

I think the caller is trying to express grief over the dichotomy between: asking voters to be okay with “playing politics/“status quo and asking for votes based on “being aggressive”/actually changing the institution. A lot of leftist became leftists after being tired of the “they go low, we go high” stagnation that led to this point. While I love Majority Report for their realism, I fear dismissing this feeling and not redirecting it is leading to a loss of hope already when we should be getting hyped up.

There's also the consideration that...He's the mayor of a city. Yes it's NY, but you have to realize he ran for *mayor* , not congress, not governor, not any other smaller or larger position. He's there to fix *his* city the way he can. The democratic party being on fire isn't his issue; he's here to fix the pipes, hopefully without people getting in the way. And that's all he want to do.

The Democrats have not been bad at strategy, this is the system they want. They want some power, but no responsibility. No responsibility for their vote, no responsibility for their constituents wants or needs. Both sides of the isle are mostly bought and paid for .

Dem voters need to push their Dems in the House to be willing to replace Jefferies if he wusses out. Dems need to be stop being so afraid of getting rid of poor leadership
