Susan Collins has been using the seniority argument for my entire life. The problem is, she doesn’t actually use it to do anything for Maine. Most recently just voted to close one of the few rural hospitals that actually exist in the state. If you sort by votes where they needed her to carry, she is the most conservative senator in the Senate. She cares about herself, and only herself. Watch her ads, every one of them is framed under the guise of “calling her to thank her for hard work.” No issues or platforms stated, literally just “call me and tell me how great I am.” Sickening.

The media messes up figuring out rural Northeast folk all the time. The only world they understand is southern rural and it’s an entirely different culture. It’s much less overly religious and much more mind your business. The fact that he owned up to the tattoo and explained, it means a lot in that culture. Honesty and directness and accountability is a really big deal. Much more so than in the south , where appearances are more important.

I’ve said it numerous times, Collins is dug into this state like a deer tick. I think Graham is our best chance at getting Collins out finally. Ol Susie also claimed she was only going to run for 2 terms when she started.

That speech was one for the history books. Amazing.

It’s kinda funny hearing Mills say she would only serve one term because Collins first got elected saying she would only serve a maximum of two terms.
