Brady is 100% right, he always made a point to keep his receivers out of danger. He also told his receivers to sacrifice YAC to keep themselves healthy
They changed all the rules to prevent QBs from getting injured and there's 10 backups playing this year. Really glad they're protecting the QBs.
Roughing the passer call is the number #1 call that’s hurting the NFL in my opinion.
If you watch alot of Bradys hits you will notice he falls a certain way everytime and it seemed to keep him from getting injured.
Just like the NBA. Every damn 2 minutes there’s a foul, you breath on someone it’s a foul, you say something to the ref you’re ejected. The refs aren’t being held accountable for bad calls in both nfl and nba and it makes the situation much worse.
As a Niner fan. Watching Jimmy G was like watching a QB purposefully try and get his receivers knocked out with how he’d throw to them
2005-2015 was a great decade of football. The games changed.
I agree with Aaron and Tom on both their points. The NFL needs to find a good balance between offensive and defensive protection without hurting the game.
Imagine all the penalty calls on the ‘85 Bears today. Especially Wilber Marshall knocking out the Detroit Lions QB.
I think the rule changes have affected the game so much that you have to have a great QB or you can’t win. You used to be able to win games with a run game and Defense.
