"There's this thing called your brain" - that's where you lost me, mate
the primeagen algorithm : makes the original video 4x the size :)
I've made my job fun for the last 5 years by doing "Speedruns" I guess how long the task will take me, and try to beat that time by 25%. I make a speedrun "checkpoint" timer that forces me to scope out the steps, and then tick them off like a video game speedrun.
Yeees 😂😂😂 I worked at this blacksmith's workshop. One of the guys was milling old anchor chains into billets. Told me they were chatting to guys from another workshop, who told them that wasn't possible with the machinery they had. And then he said "but at the time, we didn't know that it wasn't possible, so we did it anyway" 😂

I have to thank you, theprimeagen. Besides the entertainment value I get from your videos, you have given me total new perspective and motivation on my career. Again and again you truly speak to me -- many small snippets of wisdom you spill here and there. About hard work as a software developer. How to find the professionalism of keeping myself motivated, about grinding it through. I really like your take on "dont work harder, work smarter" -- love it. Love that there are no shortcuts, to get good, you have to work hard. Let me give you a quote my math doctor gave me when I was on my first year in university, all us green and one-smarter-than-other: "talent is overrated, hard work is underrated". I have always been able to survive by doing the minimum. Now 20yrs later, I embrace doing the hard way. Keep making sense!

This is also true for health: diet/exercise
Very stoic thinking - you can't control the situation but you can control your reaction.
