Using AI is like talking to a grandpa with Alzheimer's: he's seen a lot, remembers fragments of everything, and can give you surprisingly wise advice at times, but he’ll often forget what you just said, repeat things, or confidently make up stories that sound real but aren’t.

Society needs to be concerned that developers care about writing good code and are deliberate in their actions. We need developers that are kept awake at night worrying about the robustness and maintainability of the systems they are working on.
