couple gems here i think 1. (kinda obvious) building stuff with the same tech stack. 2. being at the right place at the right time 3. actually showing the "passion" through github contributions 4. (if you are an interviewer) testing the interviewee by attempting to solve a problem together 5. being someone who has the tools they need to solve problem at the tip of their fingers so they are easier to work with. since you cant be opening chatgpt everytime you are discussing a problem with someone. especially because, a lot of times, people discuss problems away from their monitors
