Naming the collab after a second channel is a recession indicator.
100x productivity is quickly turning into 100 ex-employees.
I work at a bank. I just had a call with an app team working on your banking app. They have 0 technical skills. They can't understand or complete basic tasks. They are entirely reliant on AI. It is causing massive problems for the company. Can't wait until token rates go 10x and I get fired so the company can pay the AI bill.
I was one of the people laid of by Meta. Everything you hear is true. The vibes are absolutely horrible and the company is terribly ran. People are already purposefully trying to sabotage the AI.
“Claude. Do all the employees jobs. Make no mistakes.”
Yoo Claude go fire some ppl, full gas no breaks and no mistakes
I was laid off. First they removed my access to my laptop, then they sent an email to the corporate account to which I didn’t have access anymore. I only knew I was fired is because a colleague told me via Whatsapp “Man, what the hell happened?”
I was working remotely for an SF company as a DevOps engineer. The CEO was getting crazier about AI to the point where he spent $100k in two weeks on agents and was telling everyone they should be pushing 40 PRs per day because his agents were doing 60 per day. (By the way, 85% of those were fixes for the 15% of PRs they had already pushed.) Eventually, I was laid off recently, I guess because I wasn't using enough AI, although I had done a good amount of automation work with Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure, etc. Anyway, it's getting crazy.
Zucc 1,000% uses that AI CEO to raise his kids
This feels like such endgame surreal stuff, but I bet we have years left of this mania
