Just from the teaser this subject deserves a full episode.
Thank you AJ and gang for existing. Life would not be the same without all of you.
I got a little excited when you mentioned Alexander Thom. My husband was a survey/sound ranger in the Royal Artillery and was stationed about a mile from Stonehenge. He and another person were asked to work with Prof. Thom to survey Stonehenge. The survey apparently went well and Prof. Thom gave him a book about ancient Egypt as a thank you. I must show him this video. Thank you for all the videos you bring to us, I've love every one of them.
Ancient civilizations were able to see the night sky without light pollution, air pollution, space junk pollution...they must've seen everything. How wonderful that was for them.
My mathematics teacher in the 7th gd was a pilot he had mirrors placed in specific spots so even with his back turned he can see everyone. He was one of those mathematicians who wore a pen/pencil holder in his white shirt pocket. It was a privilege to have had him as a teacher. But I remember how excited he was when the class reached Pi 3.14 and pythagorean theorems. He was the teacher who taught us that once you learned your multiplication tables everything after that is multiplying and dividing in different formulas. We all jumped from the 7th grade straight to college level mathematics. This was at Peter Rouget school 7th ave Brooklyn
