Not enough people recognise how great it is that there's no ads. All the other big podcasts have constant ads in them. I know the why files episodes usually start with one but even that is so funny I listen to it because AJ is awesome Edit: Yes, I meant sponsored announcements. I have YouTube premium and don't have to watch random ads
Art Bell would be so proud of this Basement ❤️
The night my father died, (I was 14. He lived in Florida and I lived in Utah) I had a dream that he came into my room and sat down on a chair to talk to me. We laughed and joked and I told him I was tired. He said, " I know. Me too " and he layed down next to me and we fell asleep. When I woke up the next morning, my mom told me that he died.
These Basement stories get better and better. Thanks guys!
AJ is such an impressive person in his own right—able to recall such a depth of knowledge about so many topics. I’m so impressed.
AJ you're the best! And Jeffrey Mishlove! Omg, two really great minds ❤
One of my favourite interviews ever. Jeffrey has such a gentle soul, much like AJ. Such a joy to listen to.
I didnt know who this guest was prior to watching this episode. This has been by far my favorite interview thus far! This man is amazing and a pleasure to listen to. I was watching before bed last night and was fading in and out of sleep. The first thing I did this morning was to listen to the episode again so I could be sure I hadn't missed anything
When my mother in law died, I had the most vivid dream a day or two later. In the dream, I heard laughter and followed the sound down a hallway until I was in front of a closed door. I opened the door and surrounded by family, my mother in law sat in the center of everyone. She was laughing the loudest, of course. She had an incredible laugh. I said to her, "Ms. Sonya, where are you? Where did you go?". She looked at me with so much light and life behind her eyes and said, "I'm right here, baby, I'm right here. I always will be." I woke up with my cheeks soaking wet because I was sobbing in my dream and crying actual tears while I slept. I will never forget it, and it comforts me when I think about her. We definitely go on beyond our physical existence. I have no doubts in my mind.
