If CA goes through with their planned redistricting, couldnt the republican voters in Northern California sue the state for disenfranchisement and no equal representation? Especially since the stated goal of the redistricting IS punitive against the republican voters and solely reactionary to OTHER states? I mean shouldnt redistricting only be to allow for a more balanced and accurate representation for the voters of the state?

The Hobby Horse thing would be 10x more entertaining if they were required to have someone following them hitting empty coconuts together.

As someone who lives in Indiana, I totally agree that our state legislature specifically does absolutely nothing positive for the state. They seem to sit in an ivory castle collecting a paycheck and not making the state better. Heck, we cant even have good roads virtually anywhere in the state. Another problem is the mayoral election for Indianapolis happened during a primary election and not during a regular election, where if I remember correctly, only like 25% of voters turned out. Our city is incredibly poorly managed, everyone complains, but nobody does anything to make an actual change. I love my state, but there needs to be some MAJOR changes across the board.
