Texas tried to redistrict in 2021, but....gasp....the Dems prevented it.

I understand the purpose of a quorum: It is to ensure a sufficient number of representatives are present so that the minority does not make decisions on their own. But fleeing the state to ensure that there is no quorum is a dereliction of duty and sabotage. If I intentionally left my job to make sure things didn't work, I would be fired and likely sued. There needs to be a significant punishment.
