What gets me is every single time you show these vases to an engineer they're absolutely blown away
Hope you enjoyed the video! Please consider supporting UnchartedX via the value-for-value model at https://unchartedx.com/support . I know it's a long one! I'll break this up into a few individual vids and release them this week. Also, yes I know I said "PolyCam' once instead of 'Polyworks,' I'm pretty sure I said 'providence' instead of 'provenance' a couple times, and I almost got 'unfathomable' right. VAHHHSSEEEE ..... Note: The figures of the modern, granite made vase vs the ancient vase (timestamp ~ 1:43:53 have been updated by a better analysis (more accurate centering). I will publish the new data on my website, but cliff notes, the ancient example is multiple times more precise, if not an order of magnitude. Also, the modern attempt was made on a CNC machine, not a lathe, and the point is made - we need to use those types of machines to even get close.
I'm an Archaeologist. I've never taken any of this alternative history seriously until recently learning about these vases. Now I am convinced something else ( I don't know what) has happened in our earth's past. One of the main reasons why "mainstream Archaeologists don't buy into it is most probably haven't seriously studied it. Those who have like myself are met with a disturbing alternative hypothesis that goes against all of our scientific and historical teachings. You can't blame us for not just slapping our foreheads and suddenly accepting it. It would be like changing your religious beliefs overnight. It's very disturbing to me but I can't rationally explain these artifacts based on everything I have been taught. It's mind blowing. The other reason Archaeologist won't come out in support of it is because of the ridicule they would receive from their peers. I myself believe there is something extraordinary here.
I'm a old school machinist, haha handle cranker 80yrs old and I'm just blown away what I'm witnessing thank you so much,
This project has done more for Egyptology in 2 years than all of the mainstream research over the last half century combined. Amazing what you can find out when you get some engineers involved.
Try to do that with your sticks and sand and hate. Best line ever!!
Just from the comments you can tell that the more informed people are in creating objects the more amazed they are by these relics
Ben, I spent my first career in the auto racing industry, first as a race car mechanic/builder and later for an engineering firm which manufactured brake systems for race and performance vehicles. Anyone who has worked with precision engineering/ manufacturing/design/mathematics understands the mindblowing evidence sitting within the nuance of this exploration. Thanks for trudging through the swathes of internet cave trolls so the ball can be moved one yard closer to the goal post.
One important aspect of these vases is that it is an exquisite example of manipulating stone. The bit that cut these vases probably used a variation of the same method that cut the huge stones out of the quarries. The ancients had a technology to cut stone that has been lost.
