"Imagine having a button you press that makes you really really happy" Oh that sounds horrific. Thanks for reminding me of the dozens of science fiction stories I've read that laboriously explain why that would be bad. EDIT: Science fiction is a medium which uses futuristic settings to explore the ethical dilemmas of modern problems. The modern problem that this is an analog for is drugs. The problematic part is the user having control of it, it knocking you out of the normal range of human emotions, and the illicit nature of the black market eliminating recourse for neglectful and dangerous products. I, the former heroin addict with borderline personality disorder and comorbid chronic depression am not trying to advocate against your medication, current or theoretical. I don't even think heroin should be illegal, but I think my decade plus of personal experience with having manual control over my pleasure centers grant me the authority to make a joke in which I say it is "bad."

I am currently wearing electrode pads on my neck that pass a specific frequency through the bone to promote growth fusing two vertebrae and grafts. The stimulation accelerated healing and reduces the time required by 30%.

Thanks Anton. I prefer the space science, but, how you sprinkle in other fields , is just right.
