Effects of Microplastics on Human Health: Neurological and Cardiovascular Findings

Discover the verifiable routes microplastics use to reach your brain via inhalation and the specific cellular mechanisms they disrupt in critical organs, fundamentally changing our view of plastic pollution risk.

Short Summary

  • Document physical evidence confirming microplastics infiltrate the brain, heart plaques, and reproductive systems.
  • Detail how nanoplastics specifically inhibit cellular energy production in neurons by blocking the electron transfer chain.
  • Note strong correlations linking microplastic presence in the body to increased risks of heart disease and potentially premature births.

This multi-part investigation summarizes recent scientific findings confirming microplastics permeate nearly every human tissue. The speaker emphasizes that while causation is not yet proven across the board, the ubiquity and specific toxicological findings necessitate immediate scientific focus and potential regulatory action.

Microplastics causing increased anxiety? 100% proven. Microplastics caused this video to be made, and after watching it, my anxiety went up significantly.

Impaired mitochondrial function is very clearly related to cancer, slow metabolism, low energy levels and dementia, yet so many people say that microplastics are harmless, because living in ignorance grants them a peace of mind.

Hi Anton, I’m currently writing a masters thesis on Microwave induced nanoplastic migration as a source of dietary contamination. Basically microwaving food in “food-safe” plastics like Tupperware & takeout containers is a major pathway for ingestion of plastic particles and chemical additives. Plastic manufacturers are allowed a certain threshold of chemical leaching/migration, so just because it says Microwave-safe does not mean it’s Plastic-Free! There is also some evidence of chemical migration from food-grade silicone rubber. Safest to use natural materials like glass or ceramics when microwaving your food.

Nobody talks about the engineer who was working for Smithfield Farms, who makes feed for pigs, who leaked video showing that Smithfield Farms was putting plastic in the pig feed they sell. They buy old groceries to make the feed, but instead of removing it from the plastic, they just grind it up all together. If you eat pork in America, you are eating a ton of plastic.

I thought i was just paranoid about the microplastics in my brain! But now, that i know that paranoia is just an effect of microplastics in the brain, i calmed down... thank you mr anton

I put some herring filets that I had just bought fresh under a microscope, and it took me about 30 seconds to start seeing micro plastic (small cylindrical shape filaments with unusual colors) everywhere. It's one thing to know they are there, but to find them in a fish caught in the ocean and see them in big numbers spread in one filet... Scary stuff :/
