I just want to say how much I appreciate that you remind us of the historical view (e.g. Newton and Mach on space and time) and the contemporary "consensus" (Einstein) view, before asking questions that are more pertaining to the work of your guests. It really gives us a faithful view of the state of science while allowing the exploration of more speculative ideas. And you do that on every topic, not just physics so thank you and your team for that.
Amazing minds able to hold all this information over so long a period of time. Memory is the key to great minds.
I love Julian's chair. I also just love listening to him, even if I don't understand a word. He has the soul of a kind and wise philosopher.
Thank you. Also if I may, then Dr Greene, a final summation of the takeaways (in your style) would be of great benefit to the viewers.
This is one of those conversations that will be a stepping stone. Right now? A person on Youtube. What is time? Kinda out here with popcorn trying to understand. And I love it.
Good to see two people disagree so politely :)
Nice conversation. I would like to hear more from Julian Barbour. He is amazing.
This discussion sorta blew my mind. Not only do I need to read The Janus Point now, I also gotta watch this video several times to wrap my head around it. Big ideas. Big!
Wow that was great. It almost felt like you were not meant to sit in on that.
I've never been more excited to watch a WSF edition.
