The hajj thing is not true. Because everyone tries to be close to kabah as much as they can, people want to touch the 'ghulaaf' it's blessing so it is not even possible for that to be true. You can not even do hajj in shade rounds has to be done in open there are no shades where you have to take rounds if anyone is resting in shade he/she is definitely not doing hajj that's for sure. Andrew is wrong about the hajj, infact it's the opposite. When Malcom X visited Makkah he was amazed at how white, brown and black Muslims are all treated equally. Classism is different from racism, surely there are some rich privileges but it has nothing to do with skin color.

Everyone who is in hajj walks around the same place. No one gets preferential treatment as far as walking around the 🕋. Now the hotels and so forth that is another thing but everyone is equal in hajj.

I could tell Aba has never been to Mecca, cause the biggest issue is how STUPID the prices are. The Marriott is like the 6th closest hotel to the Holy Mosque (7 min walk) and it cost $300 a night, and the Saudis tack on a 15% VAT at the end. So if they are charging for shade, that I'm somehow unaware of, its outside my tax bracket.
