Trump Election Security SHAMS Turns into COMPLETE FAILURE

ProPublica reporter Jen Fifield joins Court Accountability Action’s Lisa Graves to talk about her new article detailing how the so-called “SAVE” tool that the Trump administration has used to check voter registration with Social Security records keeps making mistakes in asserting that naturalized citizens who have a right to vote can’t register. They discuss how America’s visa process allows immigrants to work and pay into Social Security and Medicaid and also allows them to adjust their status to become citizens, a process the federal government oversees and yet the administration has repeatedly wrongly claimed that Americans who have a right to vote cannot do so—all of which is occurring in a period where Trump has targeted immigrants with harsh treatment and also continued to make claims about voting by immigrants that are debunked.
