Mom in Big Trouble for Toddler Son’s Deadly Beating: Cops

A Texas grand jury has indicted mother Chelsea Berg on capital murder charges in the death of her 3-year-old son, Dawson Zamora, who died after weeks on life support following severe injuries prosecutors say were caused by Berg’s boyfriend, Christopher Alexander. Investigators say text messages show Berg believed Alexander was repeatedly hurting the child but still left Dawson alone with him in the weeks leading up to the alleged fatal beating.
