If being an angry judge is your power, what are you without it
Such judges are dangerous and must be held accountable.
Honestly mad respect for the lawyer. Emailing a psychotic man knowing pretty well he was going to lose his mind about it, and being aware that it was going to make your life difficult. Man stood on principles, and I respect it.
Attorney: *emails him at his official email address* Judge: “THE INSOLENCE. THE AUDACITY.”
A judge who can be thrown off by criticism can just as easily be steered by flattery, ego-stroking, deference, strategic politeness, or anyone clever enough to make him feel important. If wounded pride affects his judgement, then so will praise. And once that’s true, impartiality is basically dead.
Telling the IT guy "get out of my courtroom" for helping him is insane tho😂
In Brazil there is a popular saying among law students and attorneys. "Medical Doctors think they are Gods. Judges are sure."
