🎅 Want to make Santa's nice list? Answer these two questions: 1. What makes a movie a Christmas movie? 2. Is Die Hard a Christmas movie?
I think the reason Santa doesn’t want to let buddy replace him is not because he’s stubborn, but because he does care about him and doesn’t want buddy to suffer as a result of having to BE Santa. It’s a thankless, tiring job that’ll wear on you over the years. He sees buddy as very naive and doesn’t wanna crush him with the endless years on the job, potentially destroying his Christmas spirit. Just because he can doesn’t mean he’s truly prepared.
Santa is a little creepy I don’t like old men breaking in my house and giving little kids presents
Also note he has a super strong metabolism, He can eat as much sugar as he wants and doesn't get diabetes.
“You sit on a throne of LIES” Buddy the Elf
0:20 don't think you can hide 69 being on the nice list out of frame
Additionally, he remembered what Santa sung to him on his 6th Birthday, something you would need to remember all those presents.
Also Buddy claims he consumed only candy and sugar at the North Pole, which sounds like an inhumane amount of sweets
Buddy lived at the North Pole since he was a baby. Some of the Christmas magic leeched into him after so many years, especially after a trip in the present sack
What makes a Christmas movie is that it takes place during Christmas, gifts and Christmas decorations shown(even for a brief moment), Christmas music, and snow. Based off this, Die Hard is absolutely a Christmas movie.
