Description

There’s not much I can tell you about Gary Sinise that you don’t already know. His resume, his talent, his humility, his devotion to serving our veterans, and his extraordinary philanthropy are all a matter of public record. You might also know that his son Mac lost his battle with a rare and especially cruel form of cancer last year. And you might have also known, as I did, that Mac was a musician. What you might not know was the level of talent Mac Sinise possessed, or the extraordinary work he managed to complete during the last and the most difficult days of his life. Honestly, I don’t have the words to articulate Gary’s grief or the beauty of Mac’s music—some of which Gary discovered after his son’s untimely death. Along with his other good work, Gary is doing all he can to get Mac’s music out there. This episode is my attempt to help. At the end of our conversation, we play a composition called The Rise, with full orchestra. You’ll love it. #podcast #music #cinematic Check out Mac’s Music: https://www.youtube.com/@macsinise7489 Purchase Mac’s Music: https://store.garysinisefoundation.org Gary’s tribute to Mac: https://www.garysinisefoundation.org/mac-tribute A special thanks: PureTalk—Switch today to a qualifying plan and save an additional 50% off your first month: https://puretalk.com/rowe mikeroweWORKS—My foundation is giving away $2.5 million in trade scholarships. There is something just so inherently human about this podcast. Humanity at its purist. Two true souls talking about what is real and most important.

I have escorted service members who lost limbs to their new, Sinise houses. It is a real pain to ride a 1000lb bike with tears in your eyes.
