More people actually die in America from overeating than starvation.
Notice how they immediately go to stealing as the only option to solve the problem.
I used to run a gas station. Every single person who used SNAP to pay for chips or slushies would then blow over $100 in cash on cartons of cigarettes or the Lotto. Clearly they had plenty of money and didn’t need any assistance
I worked in loss prevention for Walmart years ago. I caught a ton of people that were in food stamps stealing carts of groceries. They aren’t becoming thieves because ebt is going away, they’ve been thieves and they are just using this to justify it.
If you depend on the government to feed you, you can depend on the government to starve you.
Food stamps and welfare programs were not intended to be permanent.
They’ll loot the stores & then when National Guard gets called they will say it is “racism” … watch.
Anyone arrested for robbing as a result of this issue should be permannently banned from ever receiving any Government benefits for the rest of their lives.
I’m a disabled vet. I cannot work. I get $75.00 in SNAP benefits each month. Without it I will not starve but it will be ramen noodles and cans of beans for a while. These people are nuts. Able bodied individuals that abuse the system. Makes things harder for the people that actually need assistance
I really hate the "I'mma get mine" crowd.
