There are not enough words to describe the magnitude of this conversation - Thank you Mel and Seth!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥
By pushing through the discomfort and the fear, I got into grad school after 5 years of being a caretaker for my mom. I could feel myself slipping back to how I got stuck in the first place, and getting caught up in the fear of saying "here, I made this" and being judged that its not original or good or full of mistakes or worthless. But I'm getting tired of my own excuses and this episode was such a wakeup call!! I'm going to do a project because I want to explore it with my own eyes and my own curiosity. I just love to learn about systems and the world and I have to remove the points or external incentives of is it worth it for my career. Anything is worth it as long as I'm growing!! Thank you Mel and Seth! ❤
Hi mel I'm Ephrem from Ethiopian I really appreciate you I'm attained you all of your podcast for 2 reason 1, learn English by your podcast 2, learn all of your guest and i educated myself every your podcast
I felt like I needed to say this. If you’re holding off on going to nursing school because you think that you’re “too old”, don’t! When I went through nursing school at 21 years old, the smartest/best student in my class was also the oldest student in the class!
“Pick yourself” is such a powerful reminder. A lot of us aren’t lacking talent — we’re just still waiting for permission.
I just wanted you to know how special you are to me , we’ve never met but reading your books made me feel like you’re a family member…. Mel you’re awesome!!! And I thank you for every thing you’ve helped me with …
I will watch whatever Seth tells me to
Finally something so powerful, and so inspiring that actually relates to many of us. Thank you.
Mel, every day, after I wake up and start my day, your podcast is what I choose to listen to, and on many days it's the very thing that gives me clarity about what to do to keep a positive life. Thank you so much for sharing with us another awesome and enlightening conversation! I love you!
What a lovely impactful podcast episode. I loved "being authentic isn't real, nobody wants you to be authentic, they want you to be consistent" really resonated with me! Thank you
