If a woman buy pads, everyone assumes it is for her. If a man buy pads, everyone assumes it is for his girlfriend/sister/daughter/mother.

In relation to the last story: When my younger brother was in middle school, he made a derogatory comment about women being on their period, my mom got us both in the car and drove around on the highway so that there was no escape as she and I told my brother about menstrual cycles in extreme gory detail. We talked about sneezing, about the pain (I have endometriosis), about disposing of pads, and much, much more. He has never made another derogatory comment about women’s cycles, and has been a wonderful ally ever since. I think more boys should go through this trial in their formative years.

I actually have information about the second story! This is the work of a psychopath! My brother is a diagnosed psychopath and he did this! Not the exact thing but he wrote down our emotions, how we reacted to certain things and just watched us. He never hid it, he always talked to us about it afterwards. He was never empathic over our outbursts, he was simply curious how it worked. It is truly wild how much he notices and how true all the information is, even if it is the worst kind of information to read about yourself.

The other mom in the babysitting story is a true MVP. I can't ever get enough of stories like that.

For the last story, my first real adult relationship out of high school, my boyfriend actually volunteered to go get me more tampons, but wound up calling me about 20 minutes later in an absolute panic. Because he didn't realize just how many options there were But yeah, I think him showing Op. His true colors now is allowing her to Dodge a bullet
