It: Welcome to Derry is a chilling prequel series set in 1962 Derry, Maine, where a couple’s arrival coincides with the disappearance of a local boy—and the sinister force known as Pennywise begins its ancient cycle of terror. It: Welcome to Derry was developed by Andy Muschietti (It, It Chapter Two, Mama) and Barbara Muschietti (It, It Chapter Two, The Flash). The series stars Taylour Paige (Zola, Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom, Boogie) as Charlotte, Jovan Adepo (Watchmen, Fences, Babylon) as young Bill Denbrough, and Chris Chalk (Perry Mason, Gotham, Detroit) as Ricky. Joining the ensemble are Madeleine Stowe (Revenge, The Last of the Mohicans, 12 Monkeys), James Remar (Dexter, The Warriors, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood), and Stephen Rider (Daredevil, The Butler, The Legend of Tarzan). Bill Skarsgård (It, Barbarian, John Wick: Chapter 4) reprises his iconic role as Pennywise the Dancing Clown, linking the series to the feature films and expanding the chilling mythology of Derry, Maine.
