The conversation about depression and how you face that mountain of “stuff” that builds over time and lose the connection to things that used to bring joy or matter is the most accurate description I’ve heard. I never understood how someone could decide to leave this world , but hearing that opened my eyes to how that despair feels.

I'm only a quarter of the way in and I'm blow away by how deep and relevant the conversation is to how I feel daily about everything, life, government, and how messed up it all is right now. Having a daughter I really am concerned about the future for her in our country.
