3 factors in the injury: 1st was because he threw a really wild kick and landed horribly. 2nd was he was on steroids which it's a proven thing that when you take steroids for a while the ligaments don't tend to keep up with the rapid growth of the muscle. 3rd in my opinion is that in the time he had the break in the left leg when he fought Porier, for a long time his body was compensating for the left leg with the right leg, which puts a lot of strain on the right leg and makes it more prone to injury.
