Hey there! Resident truck driver here to answer yalls question about semis in roundabouts! They are certainly a pain to drive in and they are very tight to drive in. Bob is right that if there are multiple lanes we will use the whole thing if possible. In single lane ones we try to turn as wide as possible as to ATTEMPT to keep the trailer off the middle circle as that center area is a major rollover hazard in many areas. If done correctly the trucker SHOULD be able to go around the roundabout while just narrowly not going over that middle area. 2nd note is that you can tell if a roundabout was made with semis in mind or not. That center circle is the giveaway. If the curb is like a normal curb (a 90⁰ mini wall) then it's not made with semis in mind. If the center circle curb is curved like an entrance to a driveway it is made with semis in mind!
