The trans mexican movie will win everything since Trump got elected. It will be Hollywood’s stupid way of thinking they’re protesting him.
Handing out Best Actress to a dude should let women know where they rank in the scheme of things as far as Hollywood is concerned.

I live in Mexico and this movie is the most hated ever in this country!! No one likes them.. not even the mexican LGBTQ pages I follow.. 😂😂😂😂 Oscars are no longer valid to me after this
Nothing oppresses women like men winning their awards.
For those who aren't aware, Karla Sofia Gascon is NOT Mexican, this man is Spanish. No one involved in the making of this film is related to Mexico...starting from the director who is French. It's ridiculous how Hollywood praises itself for being "inclusive" and "representative" and yet this movie is all the opposite. On top of that is beyond insulting to the Mexican people.
Shame on everyone who voted for the nomination of a MAN in the best actress category and double shame on them if this MAN wins.
Hollywood “women need to be heard!” Also Hollywood “let’s let dudes in dresses win women’s awards!”
A nomination place was taken away from a female actress. Hollywood must be very proud.
