1) Your allies backed you and died in Iraq/Afghanistan. Their deaths were negated by the President of the United States claiming that they "stayed back" from the frontlines. 2) The USA recently threatened to invade Greenland. The sovereign territory of an ally. 3) The USA pulled all support for Ukraine and told them "they don't have the cards", despite guaranteeing their security if they gave up their nukes back in the 90s. 4) Your President was mocking the sovereignty of Canada. The list goes on. Tariffs etc etc. Your country has been acting like a conqueror, not an ally. Don't be surprised that we won't sacrifice our youth for your "excursions". Tell us, was Israel a bad ally since they didn't go to help fight in Iraq/Afghanistan after 9/11? They didn't send a single soldier. Unlike many of the countries you are disparaging right now.
Nothing stopping you Ben from putting on a uniform and joining in to defend your Land.

well done Ben, here are 4 things good allies should NOT be doing: 1. Impose Tariffs on them as a way to coerce 2. Insult their militaries and their democratically elected governments 3. Threats to invade their territories 4. Start war of aggressions without properly consulting with them and making sure their military assets are ready for such conflicts
