People generally appreciate job creators. However, a significant issue arises with job creators who believe that the value generated by the workers should be funneled into their own pockets, often at the expense of fairly compensating the workers. This approach not only leads to resentment and dissatisfaction among the workforce but also ignores the stress and financial strain placed on the workers when they are compensated far below the value they generate.
How dare someone get rich and it's not me. We must put legislation in place to steal it from them!
This is one of your videos where I have to remind myself that you are running and promoting a business that caters specifically to people who have extremely high income and/or net worth. I enjoy your content, even if it isn't specifically meant for people who aren't well off financially. I left the United States because I don't like the culture there and I realized that I could live off of much less money in countries with much friendlier cultures. Fortunately, your mantra of "go where you are treated best", can be applied to all people from legacy countries that are unhappy with the country they were born in. I escaped the United States on a cheap budget airline flight paid for with a few points on that budget airline's credit card. I say that to give hope to people watching your videos who don't have a 6, 7, 8, or even 5 figure net worth. One could escape with 4 figures and a solid plan to a country within a 4 hour flight range and much lower cost of living
I think they hate how rich behave. I am not poor but I hate the croni capitalism. It's not just so simple.
I think the problem is the wealth gap. Policies have made the economy so inflationary along with wage stagnation for decades, that the middle class is dwindling and struggling to the point they resent those with high income. If they were living more comfortably they wouldn’t have so much anger that the system is designed to do the opposite of help them. Major policy change is needed that supports all classes as best as possible.
We don't hate the rich , we hate the people who make our lives difficult , and we hate the people who take advantage of that .
People are fed up with a corrupt system
Most people conflate rich with super rich.
They have earned their hate. 100%. Their fortunes are built off of the backs of the working class. There is not a single person with a vast fortune today that didnt just chuck endless piles of people into the metaphorical wood chipper in pursuit of profit and success. I might even accept that the ends justify the means to a certain extent in regards to my previous statement... except for the fact that the rich dont just simply exist, and be rich. They buy politicians, judges, news agencies, think tanks, colleges, banks... etc etc. All of this in the name of CONTROL and pulling up ALL of ladders that they once climbed to become successful. People arent calling for their heads on pikes because they are rich. They are calling for their heads on pikes because they are using their vast power to keep everybody else down.
Every person I've known who has become wealthy is basically a flawed person, no morals or shame. I'll never try to be rich if I have no morals or a corrupt mindset. It's really what you can stomach I guess
