Thank you 🙏 so much inspiration, I bought Dante (I didn't understand much when we learned at school).. some books require some life experience, deeper understanding and seeking for Truth.. I appreciate a lot this possibility for my own contemplation. It seems like people still don't unerstand the beauty of exchanging ideas. This is a masterclass in how to involve the students, accept their challenges, work together. Kudos to all students - they made all the difference. They prepared well for this discussion, were courageous, didn't hold back. This is what western education should be and right now it is not. I see comments against students challenging prof. Jiang and it shows the abuse by authority that most of us suffered - so much that we cannot stand to witness arguments in good faith because we are afraid that the emperor is naked, on the emperor's behalf. But prof. Jiang is not the naked emperor and it's been a pleasure to see him in action. This class brings hope.

The question about faith just really made me think and i want to share my understanding because i feel like i have to. What Jiang says in his explanation is that faith is the moving power of the universe, and its only humans who really can change the order of things because we got our imagination, this is just pure beauty of an explanation , and let me add something to that. I want you to pay attention to verses 70 - 72. Dante emphasizes that beings in Heaven got access to great power that are not entirely available to earthy beings. But its only through faith we could get access to gods power to perform and change the universe, so its almost like a wire that connects us with god and allows us to take energy from him and boost our abilities and imagination. The connective role of faith is just another important layer to dante's conception and it makes me feel like faith provides you with gods power that makes you basically invincible and this realization made me happy
