Literally behavior so unemployed he was sentenced to a job
For those wondering, he's only getting 6 months as of april 14 2026, 7:00pm MST. Edit/Update: as of April 21, both Johnny Samoli and the prosecution has filed for an appeal, meaning he could be getting even longer on top of waiting in an actual hell detention center while waiting. I would recommend checking out legal mindset for a better breakdown.
"His mom wrote a letter to the judge" I imagine it's just one line reading "He's your problem now"
6 months isn't long enough. He'll wear it like a badge of honour when he inevitably comes back out to wreak havoc
He got 6 months. As a korean, i am disappointed.
Remember that he still isn't allowed to leave korea after the sentence is served. He still needs to pay all of the fines before he can leave korea.
Six months might not seem like much, but that's six months of hard labor and pissing off other Korean prisoners who won't be as lenient as the people on the outside.
In South Korea, the prosecution has 1 week to appeal the judges decision if they want a harsher sentence... And this is VERY common in SK. Let's hope the prosecution appeals.
I bet my life savings that once he’s released from his 6-month sentence, he’s going to go back to doing the same thing
100% the type of dude that will come out of this acting all hard now that he “went to prison”
