> I don't want any government to have my data > Uses windows
DeepSeek recently recommended your YouTube channel as one of the best places to learn cybersecurity about
It baffles me that a lot of people sees DeepSeek with its open and public code as a HUGE security threat while thinking that 'Open'AI is the safer option when the code is anything but OPEN and is a for profit company...
the fact that deepseek is opensource makes it infinitely safer than closed "openAI"
Bro said "I don't want any government to have my data" I guess he never heard about three letter agencies 🤣
Ironically in the US we have programs like NSA PRISM where tech companies hand over your stuff without a warrant.
☕Because everything in I.T. requires coffee: https://ntck.co/coffee Is it actually safe to run DeepSeek R1—or any local AI model—on your computer? Everyone says local AI is better for privacy, but… is it really? How do we know it's not secretly sending data to the internet? And what about file access—can it peek into your personal stuff? In this video, I’ll show you how to run DeepSeek R1 LOCALLY. It’s time to ditch Cloud AI. 📄📄📄GUIDE/WALKTHROUGH: https://blog.networkchuck.com/posts/is-deepseek-safe-to-run-locally/ 🔥🔥Join the NetworkChuck Academy!: https://ntck.co/NCAcademy **Sponsored by NetworkChuck Coffee ☕☕
Step 1: Turn off your internet connection Step 2: Run your model Am I missing something?
I love that running things like DeepSeek R1 locally puts you in control of your data, though I let ai carma keep tabs on which AI tools are talking about my stuff now just in case.
Love how people are paranoid about AI when its released by China when U.S. tech companies have already admitted they listen to you through your smartphone mic all the time.
