Netflix Joins the Sick Movement To Turn Villains into Heroes | Ep. 1705
Hollywood's Systematic Erasure of Good and Evil in Children's Media
Uncover the coordinated media trend rewriting classic villains as misunderstood heroes and analyze how this undermines objective morality for younger audiences.
Short Summary
- Hollywood consistently inverts classic villain narratives, arguing that "evil" characters are actually victims of trauma or flawed systems.
- This trend appears across major franchises, from Disney remakes (Cruella, Cinderella) to high-budget adaptations (Rings of Power).
- The host argues this trend is an intentional, well-funded effort to convince children that objective morality does not exist.
- Separately, the segment critiques the dependence on AI, exemplified by industry leaders struggling with basic parenting tasks without technology.
This episode deconstructs current Hollywood propaganda, showing how modern retcons erase moral clarity found in original stories, including historical versions that featured explicit moral consequences for villains. The host also addresses recent attacks on Erica Kirk and critiques the growing societal reliance on technology like ChatGPT for fundamental human functions.

Never forget, it's not about telling their story, it's about destroying yours.
Disney turning villains into heroes is pure evil. Disney is celebrating evil.
I noticed shows like "Criminal Minds" and "NCIS" started to do this. The detectives, law enforcement, and federal profilers were often trying to find murderers, serial killers, pedophiles, terrorists, ganglords, etc. Yet at the end, when they finally caught the person and the big reveal occurred, the offender was treated as some sympathetic character with credible grievances and often portrayed as a victim themselves. At the very end of every "Criminal Minds" episode, it would show the team of FBI profilers flying on a plane back to Quantico pondering society and their own lives as some esoteric "deep philosophical" quote was read. The point of the entire show seemed to become how many excuses they could make for the scumbag they just spent the entire show trying to find and arrest
My son was murdered in 2007 at the age of 21. For his memorial service, I wrote and had someone read all of the funny, quirky things he did growing up. I wanted people to remember the person he was. After the service, his friends were coming up to me and telling me funny stories they had of him that I'd never heard. And yes, I laughed. I thanked them for sharing. There's no right or wrong way to grieve.

I'm nearly 47 years old and I no longer tolerate sob stories as excuses for being evil or lazy. I am my own personal story of turning trauma into success. I come from a background of all the worse situations. I was abused as a child in every way and my early adulthood was even more traumatic than that. I can give you all kinds of sob stories from my past. Yet I overcame every single obstacle with the help of God, He carried me out of it and gave me the strength to persevere and make a better life for myself and my family. My life is now hopeful and joyous. I never hurt anyone. I never hurt a soul. Because I knew what pain was and I couldn't imagine giving pain to another human. I have a good soul. There are evil people that need destroyed or put away forever. Their sob stories mean nothing to me.
This is all part of the war on truth. These are false teachers pushing darkness as light, good as evil, ugliness as beauty and perversion as righteousness. They will never stop trying to rewrite history to replace truth with outright lies portraying themselves as the downtrodden heroes. Make America great again, by standing up for Truth and denying evil.
