I've owned the 2024 Model 3 Performance for almost a year now and it has nothing to do with state of charge if you are over about 80% and everything to do with battery temperature. Track mode just keeps the battery too cool and serves NO purpose in your one little corner. Put it in insane mode and set the suspension in sport mode. I won't even tell you to navigate to a supercharger to heat up the battery because that's considered a bit of a hack. Just put it in the proper mode for a drag race which is what you are essentially doing. One U-turn does not make it a "track".
