I am completely honored to have my question answered by Chuck and Neil about the science behind the movie sunshine. The rotisserie chicken comment had me and my wife rolling😂😂. Thanks for every thing Neil, Chuck and everybody behind the scenes at StarTalk. Love this show❤
The chemistry between them is contagious
The only podcast in the world you listen to all the time and never get tired off ❤❤❤🎉
Could time dilation be a clue that the universe processes information, like a giant cosmic computer?
You had me at space rotisseries.
My week just wouldn't be complete without StarTalk.
Star talk makes learning fun again
Bro idc what no one says chuck could basically be a science teacher or professor at this point.
The idea you talked about, about a slow ship to another star being passed due to advances in technology has been done. "Far Centaurus" is a science fiction short story by Canadian-American writer A. E. van Vogt, first published in Astounding Science Fiction in January 1944. The story involves the crew of a sleeper ship that arrives at Alpha Centauri after five centuries, only to find the planets there already settled by people who arrived in faster-than-light ships. The sleeper crew wasn't "rescued" because it was considered more respectful to allow them to finish their historic attempt.
I always love saying “I have a personal astrophysicist” to people who don’t watch StarTalk just to watch their reactions.
