Thanks for yet another informative video, Andrew. I purchased a condominium in Mexico last year and am currently spending my first winter here. After obtaining a Mexican temporary resident visa recently, my intent is to explore citizenship a few years after I retire to acquire a second passport. It is time to get serious about becoming fluent in Spanish!

I visited the DR years ago and did not like the way I was treated. People were always trying to scam me and I have no desire to go back.

The problem with Uruguay is that they discriminate citizenship by "birth" and "origin" and it is stated on the passport.

Your approach to citizenship is simply the best. What's your opinion on Paraguayan citizenship, taking in consideration being a tax friendly country?
