Keanu Reeves stars as hotshot lawyer Kevin Lomax (celebrated for The Matrix and John Wick), who leaves his small-town practice for a high-powered New York firm led by the charismatic John Milton (Al Pacino, Oscar-winner for Scent of a Woman and unforgettable in The Godfather Part II). As Kevin navigates cutthroat cases and moral compromises, his wife Mary Ann (Charlize Theron, Oscar-winner for Monster and acclaimed in Mad Max: Fury Road) becomes increasingly haunted by disturbing visions. The film’s standout cast also includes Judith Ivey as Kevin’s principled mother Alice Lomax (Sister Act 2), Connie Nielsen as enigmatic firm associate Christabella Andreoli (Wonder Woman), Craig T. Nelson as the billionaire accused of murder (Poltergeist), and Ruben Santiago-Hudson (Black Nativity) in a pivotal supporting role. Andrew & John break down every chilling moment—from the eerie opening courtroom exchange and the seductive mirror scene that reveals Kevin’s true allegiance, to the climactic finale in Milton’s infernal penthouse office. Experience how The Devil’s Advocate weaves supernatural horror with legal drama, exploring corruption, temptation, and the ultimate price of power. #TheDevilsAdvocate #KeanuReeves #AlPacino #CharlizeTheron #TaylorHackford #HorrorThriller #LegalDrama #MovieReaction #ReactionReview #AndrewGordon #Reaction #MovieReaction #ReactionVideo #ReelRejects #FirstTimeWatching #Movie #Movies #Film #Cinema Late Night With The Devil (2023) Movie Reaction: https://youtu.be/Nw2aiyV0HX4 The Autopsy of Jane Doe (2016) Movie Reaction: https://youtu.be/6WpEjTdV9zw Lights Out (2016) Movie Reaction: https://youtu.be/ARCXgSuooZc The Crow (1994) Movie Reaction: https://youtu.be/iA34USf0a0A Constantine (2005) Movie Reaction: https://youtu.be/FUieCQCeFLc 0:00 Checking In! 3:12 The Devil's Advocate Reaction 30:03 SHOPIFY 31:39 The Devil's Advocate Movie Reaction 1:35:52 HUEL 1:37:46 The Devil's Advocate Review 1:55:28 Patron of the Day SHOUT OUT! Keanu was so smart to turn down _Speed 2_ for this.

At the time, studios couldn't afford Pacino for his role, so Keanu told them to take his pay for the movie towards it. Just one of many reasons why he is such a cool dude!

The fact that Keanu Reeves was able to go toe-to-toe with Al Pacino in the final scene (and do a damn fine job at it) is more than enough proof that he's always been a really capable actor - I think he just needs to be paired with the right script, the right director, and the right costars in order to really shine.

The American Psycho line that John is talking about is "mergers and acquisitions" being confused for "murders and executions".

I don't think I have ever felt more sorry for a character than Mary Ann. Charlize played that character so well. This is such a creepy movie that just leaves you feeling icky. Such superb acting.

Keanu Reeves accepted a lower salary so the producers could pay Al Pacino's asking price. When Pacino later heard about this, he donated the same amount of his salary to charity
