The detective’s nonchalant attitude is the most disturbing. If this was his daughter on trial for her life how would he feel about solo cups?

As a 20 year plus cop . I’m ashamed of my profession . This alleged Lt detective was disgraceful - no respect of evidence / crime scene attendance . Crime scenes in torrid weather - we use a large forensic crime scene tent / covering All entry snd exits of a crime scene must always be the same point guarded by the crime scene log guard . Reasons for entry / exit is recorded on the log . Any / all contamination by 1st responders is recorded and conveyed to CSI /CRASH!!! The victim / victims family and Read deserve better . This is An unprofessional and bungled investigation . I’m furious . The worse murder investigation I’ve ever seen and I’ve been involved in countless number . An unprofessional and embarrassing police officer !! If he is the lead officer , I shudder listening to the rest of the police propeller heads A crime scene is hallowed ground Must be an inner and outer crime scene and treated with utmost respect !!!! All hospitals have a secure police blood vile drop box - doctors / nurses who took the sample drop all logged blood exhibits into the box . It’s Picked up / logged daily by a forensic officer . Who conveys the tubes:/ vials to the forensics lab . Thus continuity is preserved . This box is locked up like a nuke launch code box . Only one cop has the keys. No solo cups A crime scene and exhibits from investigation must be handled professionally / recorded and stored securely with a chain of custody recorded .
The more neutral witnesses really put into stark contrast how defensive and evasive some others are. I think that helps the Defense a lot.
You mean to tell me they could in over a clear small broken glass with that leaf blower but not ONE PIECE of 47 FORTY SEVEN taillight pieces were uncovered in a few inches of now. That’s too unbelievable to contemplate.
If my loved one inexplicably died in the snow and this group of Keystone Cops were the investigators, i'd be doubly heartbroken

In my professional career, if it's not documented, it didn't happen. Period. End of story. I worked for health insurance companies, health care providers, and as intermediaries in between the two. I also studied and became a medical coder. Same rules across the board. If it's not documented, it didn't happen.
