Likely digging in the previous lot owners toilet. 🤔
looks like a well with a cranking handle that would go on a wooden roller for the rope
Curiosity is one of the strongest emotions we have. The desire to know... Is powerful.
Am I the only one seeing a really old well. Pipe is the rope wind rod, the crank handle is the crank on the end of the pipe, and the hook is from the rope to a wooden bucket. Salvaged iron parts in mid 1700’s. The wood parts are all rotted. And the well filled in. 🤷🏻♂️
Before refrigeration, food was stored underground.
This is no longer a treasure in a island series. This is now a archeologist research in a island 😅
I follow this. But it just goes to prove that human beings have been on this Earth 4 centuries and they're discovering artifacts that have been left behind. But, I LOVE. HISTORY.
We moved outside the city and do not have cable anymore. Thank you for sharing. One show i missed was oak island.
