Am I the only one seeing a really old well. Pipe is the rope wind rod, the crank handle is the crank on the end of the pipe, and the hook is from the rope to a wooden bucket. Salvaged iron parts in mid 1700’s. The wood parts are all rotted. And the well filled in. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I follow this. But it just goes to prove that human beings have been on this Earth 4 centuries and they're discovering artifacts that have been left behind. But, I LOVE. HISTORY.
