When I was in college, I had a trigonometry professor who really cared. I had a hard time in that class and would end up in tears every day. He asked me what I wanted to do with my life, and I told him I just wanted to get married and be a mom. He advised me to quit college. He told me to take some cooking classes and that I was pretty enough to bag a rich husband. He told me to get a job at a country club or something. Sounds sexist, but at the time it made perfect sense. That is exactly what I did. A year after that conversation I was a wife, and a year after that I was a mother. 30 years later..... still married, still just a housewife. Best advice I ever got!

I am from Germany. Never once heard I anyone in the media speak about our german ancestors and the horrific cleansing they had to endure. In school we learn about WWII in every subject every year. We are the bad guys, we need to feel guilty, our ancestors are bad. It is insane. I once questioned some numbers of WW2 and the concentration camps during school. Had a long meeting with our schooldirector afterwards. Thank you Candace for speaking out for our ancestors and the german folk. ❤

I joined the military right out of high school, left home at 18 years old to defend my country… during COVID my eyes opened. I realized immediately how much we’ve been lied to this whole time, I denied the jab, separated from the Air Force & ever since then always wondering who’s war are we actually fighting here… our “enemies” may have not been our enemies the whole time.. so sad

I lived in Germany. Odd place, you get arrested for asking certain WW2 questions.

It's illegal to question WW2 in Europe. You can question any other time in history, just not WW2.

My grandpa was in WW2 and he had nightmares since the day he passed. He became so angry after and he was drafted. And one of my mom’s friend was in Vietnam and I interviewed him for a college project it was awful and he was part of the CIA. He cried so much. He couldn’t disclose a lot of it. This is why we are so disliked around the world. But our own country lies to us. About everything!!! So disgusting. I just visited Hawaii and what Americans did to the Hawaiians is disgusting too. It makes me sick. My eyes are opening.
