Yeah Ill stick with my 2015 Land Cruiser. Simple V8. No turbos. 6 speed transmission. One small screen. Physical buttons. Perfect.

I have a 26. I am sweating bullets…. I don’t advertise for any brand. My 24 Ram was an electrical nightmare. There definitely is a design flaw. They need to come clean.

Stay away from them is right. Never thought I’d say that….

Never thought I’d live to say this! I would recommend a Nissan Armada, an Infiniti QX80 or a Nissan Frontier over the LX, GX, Sequoia or Tundra any day of the week!!! The Nissan products will be light years more reliable than the Toyota/Lexus ones, when it comes to the V35A powertrain!! And this is coming from someone who just bought a BRAND NEW 2026 Toyota Camry! I expect my Camry to give me decades of reliable service because it has that tried and true N.A. 2.5L four combined with Toyotas bulletproof hybrid system, that has been around for decades now. Toyota is still a VERY reliable manufacturer, but you have to choose very CAREFULLY! Their simple old-school powertrains (especially the 4-banger N.A. hybrids) are bulletproof! Just stick with those! If you need a pickup or bigger SUV you are essentially stuck with buying USED (the old N.A. V8s, which are, of course, bulletproof!)

The Lexus LS500 with the V35A had knocking, excessive oil use and bearing failures in 2017-2018.

If I had one I’d install a heavy duty oil cooler and change oil every 5 k with the best synthetic I could find. Heck i might use 5w30 as well.

Just did my 1000 mile break-in and there was no debris whatsoever and we used a pretty powerful magnet to pick anything up so I take that as a good sign. I will be running Amsoil signature along with a Wix XP filter just for better protection.
