Check in on your Iranian friends and neighbors. There’s incredible pain they’re all experiencing.
Finally, Jon Stewart gives the biggest story in the world some space on the show - Iran’s future will affect all of our futures
What Iran is going through is heartbreaking… 100%b
Thank you John! It feels like the world is silent and indifferent. I don't know how the brutal massacre of >30,000 people in less than a week wasn't deemed news worthy enough! This helps spread the news.
Finally, some words about IRAN
Thank you, Jon, for bringing this up and for doing the interview. I’m not sure what Jason is trying to say here, but in protests across the globe people are chanting Reza Pahlavi’s name for him to lead the transitional period. But again, thank you for being one of the few people in entertainment who genuinely cares about the truth and about people, no matter their color or origin.
It was so sad not hearing about this crisis from a man with the highest integrity in the show biz; so glad that you finally covered it Jon.
Iranian here — thank you for taking the time to address such an important topic, and for the honest conversation. It’s genuinely shocking how silent much of the media has been about the massacre in Iran. One point I’d like to add: Reza Pahlavi is regarded as the leading figure of the opposition — most impoprtantly, by people who has constantly been chanting his name in the streets of Iran. So let's please listen to the people of Iran while helping amplify our voices. Thank you again.
Thanks Jason for talking about Iran. However how you can not hear people inside Iran who have been calling Reza Pahlavi to be their leader and he accepted to help us for transition time. We all need to hear the people and their voice
TDS is the only talk show that each time talks about protests in Iran. THANK YOU for being our voice.
