Description

Actor, filmmaker, and author of the new novel “Superhero,” Tim Blake Nelson talks to Jordan Klepper about his years of working in entertainment that inspired this story about the making of a superhero movie, why he calls film sets a “microcosm of society,” and the artistic merit of big superhero movies. They also discuss America’s relationship to the superhero narrative, beginning with World War II-era comic books, and how superhero stories hold a mirror to the black-and-white view of good and evil that contributes to the American divide. #DailyShow #TimBlakeNelson #Superhero Subscribe to The Daily Show: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCwWhs_6x42TyRM4Wstoq8HA/?sub_confirmation=1 Follow The Daily Show: Twitter: https://twitter.com/TheDailyShow Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/thedailyshow Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/thedailyshow Stream full episodes of The Daily Show on Paramount+: http://www.paramountplus.com/thedailyshow Follow Comedy Central: Twitter: https://twitter.com/ComedyCentral Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/ComedyCentral Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/comedycentral About The Daily Show: Jon Stewart and The Best F**king News Team host The Daily Show, an Emmy and Peabody Award-winning program analyzing the biggest stories in news, politics, and culture through a sharp, satirical lens. I can’t believe Jordan got to interview Buster Scruggs and lived to tell the tale

All the movies I've seen with Mr. Nelson, he's had a Southern accent and it's almost weird to hear him without it. Love him though❤❤

Tim has one of my favorite lines of all time in The Hulk: "I've always been more curious than cautious."

Dude kills it in everything he's in. If I don't know anything about a movie/show/ song other than that, TBN is in it, I will check it out strictly because he's involved.

I'm glad that he's made a comeback the past few years. He ironically looks younger.

To me he is always first and foremost, Dr. Pandanski (“Mom!”) from Holes 😂 First thing I ever saw him in, I was 11. We read the book in school and then got to watch the movie in class.
