Leigh.. you’ve just summarized ALL of my thoughts. I’m blown away and that “take a moment” concept couldn’t be more powerful and more needed for us all right now… this was truly one of the best and most reflective monologues I’ve ever heard 💯

I'm an RN who is currently reviewing medical records. I'm sick of what will happen to our patients. Many will become more ill and many will die because they will forgo taking their prescribed medications, making their doctor appointments, and having required screening tests performed. I just can't believe how utterly uncaring this nation's leader(s) are. It's just horrific. I'm praying we somehow come out of this with the least damage possible.

I had my first child for $9 and change, because my husband at the time was military.....It wasn't perfect health care, but it was a great argument for universal health care.

It’s everything! They have intentionally done this… they said we would suffer. They need removed.

Thanks for the words. I'm dealing with a chronic illness and am almost eligible for Medicare. I was fixing to retire this year, but now I don't dare to lose my employer coverage and now I just have to drag myself to work till I physically can't or just drop dead.

As me being a European I have problems to understand a life WITHOUT puplic healthcare. All my life I had multiple injuries, accidents, heavy sicknesses as cancers and I never paid more than my healthcare tax per month.

Thank you for saying the fact that Republicans sabotaged the ACA healthcare plan.
