Story 5 is frustrating with that detour trying to paint the father as a suspect when the mother and aunt were proven negligent and borderline abusive "caretakers". The children's disappearance is tragic. The fact that their mother gets a "she cleaned up her act and prays her children are still alive" narrative is infuriating.

Ah yes, let's leave the kids alone and not check on them for 12 hours then blame the dad because it couldn't possibly be the fault of the people who left them to go drink.

Story 2 can be completely explained, unfortunately. Some people with lasik have glowing eyes because they take the cornea off to do the surgery and sometimes the pocket made in your eyeballs causes extra reflection when you shine lights on them. It's not exactly like a cat but you might get confused if you weren't looking too closely.
