Cardiologist REVEALS the True Cause of HEART ATTACKS | Dr. Pradip Jamnadas
Rethinking Heart Attack Causation: Inflammation, Plaque Rupture, and Clotting Dynamics
Understand why heart attacks often strike suddenly, challenging old assumptions about gradual artery narrowing. Discover the dual role of plaque stability and the blood’s clotting tendency in cardiac events.
Short Summary
- Heart attacks often result from unstable plaque cracking and forming a sudden, major blood clot, challenging the gradual narrowing model in 90% of cases.
- Roughly 80% of blockages causing ischemia (lack of blood flow) are asymptomatic until they rupture or cause severe flow limitation (>70%).
- Effective prevention requires addressing both plaque inflammation/instability and the blood’s tendency to form clots (hematological factors).
This discussion guides readers away from linear plaque progression models toward understanding acute rupture events driven by inflammation and unique blood characteristics.

Anti platelet. Proteolytic enzymes, K2, Cayenne pepper
My hubby passed 5 months ago of a heart attack
Blood quality affects clotting, which affects heart attacks. 1. Take daily low dose Aspirin (check 1st with your doctor). 2. Donate blood at least once a year. 3. Avoid foods that cause inflammation, which means basically avoid foods that cause insulin resistance.
Great points! Inflammation really has everything to do with our overall health.

Hey Jesse, I like the short takes on the long episodes and it gives me time to listen to a section where most of the time, I don't make time to listen to the full episode.
Had no chest pain, just shortness of breath, then a pinch nerve feeling in my neck. Age 47, 2 stents, 100% & 70% blocked. Im 54 now.
Thank you
