I worked for a company that made industrial pumps (Graco). They operate at thousands of PSI. The heart is more like a router.
Blood is not sticky until it begins to coagulate, initially blood is very, very slippery.
I think I need this concept illustrated.. Great guest!!

Once I saw a video that filmed around 1940s about Human Heart, they opened it in the video to find out it was a spiral packing. Dr Cowan is right.
