Achilles teaches one thing: ego builds legends and destroys them in the same breath.
I got a library card and I picked up the Illiad. I'm taking lots of lecture notes. Feel like I'm back in school right now. Late 30s, unstable housing and jobs, needing distraction from narcotic addiction. This is helping me a ton. Thanks prof What an awesome read. You can tell it wasn't written for kingly legitimacy, and Homer instead wrote it for entertainment and edification
Its crazy that I love to educate myself only when Iam out of school system for 20 years...school system is old and obsolete now
